institution that uses Meridian Financial Network Inc. web sites or web site

Consumer: is defined as a visitor to an Originator? consumer facing web
site.
Vendor: is defined as a third party company that offers services to
Originator? and Consumers. Vendor services may be offered on Originator?
consumer facing web site (e.g. Appraisals, Credit Reports, etc).
2. Disclosure of Information
Originator data: We do not sell or otherwise provide
information to third parties about you and/or your company, unless you
specifically request us to do so. If you order services that are
provided by third parties (e.g. credit reports, appraisals, etc.) we
will pass information required to fulfill the order to the vendor that
you have chosen. In addition, certain Meridian Financial Network Inc. products
are hosted by third parties. In this case, we will need to share basic
information about your company to be able to provide this service.
From time to time, we may send you special offers
from Meridian Financial Network Inc. and/or our partners via email and/or fax.
If you do not wish to receive these emails or faxes simply follow the
opt-out procedures indicated at the bottom of the email.
Consumer data: Meridian Financial Network Inc. obtains
consumer data when consumers visit our web site, apply online or
complete other online transactions. In addition, we obtain consumer data
when you upload or input consumer information to order settlement
services or perform other transactions. Meridian Financial Network Inc. will not
sell or otherwise provide information to third parties for their
independent use without your expressed permission.
When you use Meridian Financial Network Inc. to order
services (credit reports, appraisals, etc.) we will need to pass
consumer data to those providers to fulfill the transaction. While we
take every effort to ensure that those vendors protect your privacy and
your consumers privacy, we make no representation or warranty regarding
the services provided by these vendors. The vendor may need to collect
and maintain personal information and they may have additional terms of
use (including their own privacy and security policies), which you
should read to fully understand how your personal information will be
used by third parties that are partnered or affiliated with our Company.
Our web site may contain certain vendor links to
other services (Realtors, appraisers, title/escrow companies, credit
reports, etc.) which will result in the consumer transacting with a
vendor site. While Meridian Financial Network Inc. takes every effort to ensure
that these vendors respect the consumer? privacy, we make no
representation or warranty regarding the services provided by these
vendors.
Aggregate Information: To continuously improve our
services to you, Meridian Financial Network Inc. will share aggregated and
non-identifying information with selected partners, about consumers and
Realtors using our services through the registration process. Meridian
Financial Network Inc. may publicly release aggregate statistics about total
applications generated by the Meridian Financial Network Inc. network of
originators.
Privacy of Email Information-We will not sell or
distribute your email address to third parties. Email information is
requested only so we may communicate directly with you. We also post an
Acceptable Use Policy for all of our customers to mitigate unsolicited
communications such as spamming·
Originators should consult our Acceptable Use Policy
regularly to ensure that their activities conform to the most recent

Information from minors-We take special care to
protect the safety and privacy of minors. As such, we specifically do
not collect information about children and all of our services are
designed to be used by persons over 18 years of age.
Exceptions-We will disclose information whenever
required by the Federal Privacy Act and other applicable state and
federal laws.
3. Data Security
A major priority of our Company is to provide security for the
information attained by us from our clients and consumers. We employ
industry recognized security safeguards to protect personally
identifiable information that you or your clients have provided to us
from loss, misuse and unauthorized alteration.
We work to protect personally identifiable
information stored on our web servers from unauthorized access using
commercially available computer security products, such as alarm
systems, and keycards, as well as other security procedures and
practices. This includes web servers that are stored at our company
headquarters and data centers.
4. Security Measures
Use of Firewalls and Virtual Private Networks.
We utilize firewalls to safeguard our web servers and company network
systems. This allows us to protect and monitor these resources. We also
enable virtual private networks to restrict access of certain
transactions to authorized customers or third party companies where
possible and practical.
Use of Cookies
We do not design, develop, or deploy cookies for the storage of your
personally identifiable information. We do, however use cookies to store
information to help manage the use and security of our system.
Use of Encryption
When certain (financially-sensitive) personally identifiable information
is transmitted to use and stored in our systems, we provide you the
capability to transmit data between browsers and our servers that allows
encryption of your data. Data transmitted via our products are protected
with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology. In order to use the site,
users are required to be running an SSL-capable browsers. MS Internet
Explorer 3.0 (or later) and Netscape Navigator 2.0 (or later) are all
SSL-capable browers.

Your information is also password protected by a user name and pass work

administration of our products, as well as the maintenance of
information. Many of our products use digital certificates to certify
their authenticity.
